How I Pulled Off Neiman Marcus, Dick Van Dyke’s Party, and Seattle… All in One Month

September was this magical.

September was one for the books—and my suitcase. It was the month of private events, family celebrations, and magical milestones that reminded me exactly why I love what I do.

I kicked things off at the Barstow Veterans Home with our Magic University, helping veterans sharpen both their brains and their hands through the art of sleight of hand. Watching their faces light up as they mastered tricks was more rewarding than any standing ovation.

Then came a first: performing inside Neiman Marcus. Nothing like making magic appear next to a $4,000 handbag—suddenly I felt like the “affordable” entertainment option! Luckily, I wasn’t alone. I teamed up with my friend and mentalist, The Thought Influencer James Knight, who was busy reading minds while I was just trying not to set off the store alarm.

From there, I headlined again at White Rabbit Magic Shop in Santa Paula (third time’s the charm), and shared my magic at Santa Monica’s Illusion Magic Lounge.

One of the biggest honors of my career came when I was invited to celebrate Arlene Van Dyke’s birthday—yes, the amazing wife of Dick Van Dyke—at Vandy Camp in Malibu. Sharing magic with such a legendary family was surreal and unforgettable.

As if that wasn’t enough, I flew to Seattle thanks to Third Ave Events and Toyota, performed, then flew home to quickly reset. But magicians don’t stay still for long—I got back in the car, drove 8 hours one way, and headlined the California Magic Club in Martinez, CA for the third time. Two days, two coasts (well, sort of), and countless magical memories. That’s the magician’s life.

Through it all, I am so grateful to God for blessing me with this adventure. Every audience, every show, every mile—it’s all worth it.
