Inside the Magic Castle: A Hidden World Where Dreams (and Magicians) Come to Life

This week, I have the honor of stepping onto the stage at the legendary Peller Theatre inside the world-famous Magic Castle from May 4th through the 10th. For those unfamiliar, the Magic Castle isn’t just any venue—it’s a historic private clubhouse for the Academy of Magical Arts, nestled in Hollywood. Since its 1963 opening, it’s been the beating heart of magic, where members and guests witness world-class performances in an intimate, enchanting environment. It’s a place where legends like Dai Vernon, the “Professor” of magic, once held court and where magic’s past, present, and future converge.

My own journey with the Castle began in 2021, performing in the Close-Up Gallery just after the world reopened. Sharing space with magicians I had admired for years was nothing short of a dream. Since then, I’ve worked hard and am now honored to headline twice a year, each time feeling the same awe. As a Filipino magician, I am deeply grateful to bring my heritage into this magical space, adding to its rich tapestry.

For anyone curious—yes, the Castle is real, and it’s pure magic. And I am excited to share a little of that magic with you this week!
