We have closed the curtain on 2025 and have officially stepped into the magic of 2026, I wanted to share a few standout moments that made this year truly special. Not just a highlight reel, but a reflection on what made the journey magical.
1. Taking the Leap Into Full-Time Magic
This year, I took a giant leap and went full-time as a magician. It was a bit like jumping off a cliff and learning to fly on the way down—exhilarating and a little nerve-wracking, but absolutely worth it. It taught me that a little courage can lead to a lot of wonder. For anyone thinking of making a big change, trust the magic.
2. Discovering the Magic of Core Memories
A heartfelt review from a guest who said our show helped them create a core memory changed how I see magic. It’s not just about tricks, it’s about creating moments that people carry with them. I started shaping my shows around that idea, focusing on the audience and the memories we create together. It’s a reminder to all performers: the real magic is in the joy you leave behind.
3. A Dream at the Magic Castle and a Strolling Showdown Victory
Performing in the Parlor of Prestidigitation at the Magic Castle was a dream come true, and winning the Magic Castle Strolling Showdown was the cherry on top. It wasn’t just about the trophy; it was about the friends and supporters who cheered us on and made that victory so sweet. It reminded me that hard work and a little magic can make dreams a reality.
4. Adventures, Teaching, and Gratitude
Beyond the shows, this year was full of adventures. I explored New York with Jamie, shared magic at Dick Van Dyke’s house (which was epic!), and performed everywhere from birthday parties to corporate events across the country. We also launched our Magic University program and watched our student Aarav graduate, which was incredibly fulfilling. Through it all, we did a lot of personal healing and grew stronger together. I’m so grateful for everyone we met—those who hired us, supported us, and became friends. You’re the true magic in this journey.
Looking Ahead to 2026
Next year is all about consistency, spreading joy, and of course, a little food adventure in every city we visit. We’re already booked in places like Phoenix and Portland, and we can’t wait to create more unforgettable moments. If you’d like to be part of that magic, let’s make 2026 a year to remember. Here’s to a year of wonder, laughter, and a little bit of magic. Happy New Year!
