NOVEMBER RECAP: From Boo-tiful Chaos to Holiday Magic Madness

November… WHAT. A. RIDE.
If October was insanely scary (I’m still recovering from spooky season and pumpkin-spice trauma), November was the deep breath I didn’t know I needed… followed immediately by a sprint straight into holiday madness.
Let’s rewind the chaos.
We Started With Christmas Nostalgia… and Then Chaos Took the Wheel
Jamie and I kicked off the month at the Home Alone 35th Anniversary Event at Disney Studios — yes, thirty-five years.
THIRTY. FIVE. YEARS.
Cue my full Kevin McCallister moment:
“AHHHHHH! I’m old!!!”
Home Alone is still my favorite Christmas movie, and I will defend that forever.
Then, with zero cooldown time, we sped to San Diego for a wedding magic experience, cheering the Dodgers through Game 7 of the World Series on the drive like two over-caffeinated parents.
From Turning 5 to Raising Awareness
Next stop: Lukas’ 5th birthday in Apple Valley, where kids react to magic like they’ve just witnessed the discovery of electricity.
Then came one of the greatest honors of the month: performing at a Teen Cancer Awareness event at an outdoor ice skating rink in Santa Monica.
Did I skate?
Absolutely not.
I like my ankles right where they are — functioning.
Disney Adults, Assemble — Including DAPPER DAY
Of course, we squeezed in some Disneyland time because Jamie and I are proudly those “Disney adults” they warn you about.
And one of those visits was extra special — Dapper Day.
I actually put away the purple suit and went full Hercules-inspired outfit, while the beautiful Jamie rocked a Hercules-inspired look of her own.
It’s honestly my favorite time of the year besides Christmas — classy, fun, and filled with people who dress like there’s a red carpet on Main Street.
Hollywood Nights & Seniors with Savage Honesty
Later in the month I headed to the iconic Hollywood & Vine for Jenny’s birthday at LP Vinyl Bar — a retro, swingy night where everyone looked so sharp I started questioning if my purple suit needed a stylist.
Then off to Victorville for the wonderful seniors at PACE HD, who always bring the love and the realness.
They’ll enjoy the magic, smile… and then immediately challenge me like:
“Okay, now do something harder.”
Seniors don’t play. I love them.
Thanksgiving Marathon: Friends, Food, Family & Back-to-Back Shows
The end of the month went full “hold my turkey leg”:
• Friendsgiving in Irvine
• Friendsgiving in Westminster
• Wedding in Santa Ana
• Two nights at the Magic Castle
• Pi Kappa Photo event
• A birthday show in La Jolla
And somewhere between all of that… I inhaled turkey stuffing and my family-famous mac and cheese.
November was chaotic, beautiful, exhausting, and full of blessings.
This 2025 journey has already been magic — and we’re just warming up.
