Still Learning, Still Growing đź’ś

Yesterday, I had the incredible honor of sharing the stage with some truly amazing magicians at Conjuring for the Cure, a sold-out charity event raising funds in the fight against Parkinson’s disease.
First, I want to thank David and Robyn for their dedication, generosity, and heart. For seven years, they’ve continued bringing people together through magic for a cause that is deeply personal to them. What an incredible accomplishment!
But yesterday also reminded me of something important.
No matter how long you’ve been doing something, you’re never done learning.
During my performance, I lost track of time and went beyond my allotted set. It wasn’t intentional, but it happened. And when you’re sharing the stage with other performers, respecting their time is just as important as respecting your own.
I made a mistake. I owned it, apologized, and learned from it.
I’ve been performing magic for many years, but experience doesn’t make me perfect. It simply gives me more opportunities to grow.
Professionalism isn’t about never making mistakes. It’s about how you respond when you do.
To my fellow performers, here’s a little reminder, myself included: Be mindful of your time, respect the people you share the stage with, and never stop being a student of your craft.
At the end of the day, yesterday wasn’t about any one magician. It was about coming together, sharing joy, and making a difference in the lives of others.
Thank you again, David, Robyn, and every incredible performer who helped make the evening special.
I’m grateful to have been a small part of something so meaningful.
Still learning. Still growing. Still grateful. đź’ś
